Chris Anderson

Chris Anderson is a results-oriented Information Technology (IT) professional and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) who has used a breadth of experience across disciplines. His focus is on managing small projects that help organization use technology to gain efficiencies and improve service levels. This has ranged from helping an IT support organizations adopt mature processes quickly and economically, to leading the rollout of web-based presences and automated systems for small business. Chris places a priority on building up the people around him, finding ways for them to be more productive and removing barriers to their goals.

Baseline knowledge of many technologies that may impact a business, including a variety of Development platforms, Database platforms, and Web-based technologies. He constantly maintains and builds an understanding of underlying technologies and maintains networks of specialists in various areas in order to have reliable resources available.

Chris has worked with the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation for over 4 years, currently in a supervisor postion. He leads a small team handling all client technology needs for one of the divisions within this large organization. Previously, Chris was the project manager for the launch of a automated inmate risk assessment tool, and coordinated overall program technology needs. He had previously worked for the same organization, based in San Diego, completing a variety of integration projects, and assisting with stabilizing and maturing their IT support operation.
Chris finished an engagement in 2004 with a startup software firm, Fiduciary Management Technologies, where he built and stabilized a tech support operation from scratch, managed various IT operations and integration projects, and then contributed in the development of their flagship product, ‘BriefCase’.
